Motivational speaker Zig Ziglar, who wrote more than 30 books and focused on positivity and leading a balanced life, died Wednesday in Texas. He was 86.
Ziglar, who had been suffering from pneumonia, died at a hospital in the Dallas suburb of Plano, said his personal assistant, Jay Hellwig.
With an aim at helping people achieve success in their careers and personal lives, in addition to a focus on Christianity, Ziglar was a prolific speaker who appeared at events alongside world leaders including several U.S. presidents and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
"Mr. Ziglar was the same guy behind the closed doors as he was preparing for his presentations to thousands of people that he was when we were sitting at the kitchen table and he was reading the newspaper," Hellwig said.

I have been using backpage.com and craiglist.org for promotional purposes for years. The Secret, like all lead generation activities is CONSISTENCY! For the past couple of years I have a virtual assistant in India that post 30 ads a day for me on backpage.com that I pay $6.00 a week. Her service makes me money and creates leads every week for various projects. Every Tuesday I send her $6.00 and the html for the current weeks ad.

It seems that October has always been a very significant month in my life.
Quick update. This past Thursday October 25th I had a scheduled Heart Cath afer a couple of episodes of chest pain. Long story short I received 4 stents. There were some minor complications, a lot of discomfort but I am home now recovering. There was like a 80 – 90% blockage in two arteries and a 70 – 80% blockage in a third, so I am very lucky and thankful that Dawn scheduled an appointment and made me go to the cardioligist.
Sometimes, stubborness doesn't pay, but most of the time it does.

Ten years ago I can remember a conversation I had in Orlando, Florida with a marketing friend of mine.
The topic, when did it become ok to blatantly lie to people in your marketing and promotions?
Ten years later and it is worse than it has ever been. I had a conversation this week with a popular trainer who said Dale, if you don't promise people $10,000 a month in 30 days or less you can't even get their attention.
