Obituary for Robert E Armstrong
NEW SALISBURY, IN:
Robert E. Armstrong, passed away, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Baptist Floyd Hospital, New Albany, Indiana. He was born April 13, 1934 at Salem, Indiana, son of the late Ralph Owen and Thelma Gilland Armstrong.
Bob was a member of New Salisbury United Methodist Church, a charter member of Ramsey Lions Club and a member of Crandall Masonic Lodge # 591. Bob owned and operated a Lawn and Garden Sales at New Salisbury, as well as Armstrong Auto Sales and Tire… Center. He was a licensed barber and owned and operated a barbershop for several years. He was also employed in management at E.I. DuPont and B.F. Goodrich Plants. He was currently employed at Heritage Ford as a sales representative.

We tend to see people WHERE THEY ARE, and sometimes neglect the road that lead them there.
When we were building teams and had future leaders going through business and personal challenges, I would usually tell them, “I am glad you are going through this.” They would look at me with rage in their eyes. Then I would say, “I know you are going to make it, and the fact that you are going through the challenges you are going through right now will make your story that much more inspiring when you get where you are going.”
