During the Corona virus I decided to provide free 20 minute phone consultations for any past or present member of the MLM Training Club.
During one of my consultations with a Shaklee Supervisor I learned that Jim Burke, the man I credit for mentoring me in network marketing had passed away a couple of weeks ago.
Today, I wanted to take a minute and pay tribute to Jim Burke.
Here is his obituary I found online:
RAPID CITY- James E. Burke, 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at home with his wife and family by his side after a two year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Jim was born on August 26, 1936 in Aberdeen, SD to Andy and Irene Burke. He and his family moved to Pierre, SD where he attended school, graduating from… Continue reading
What profession can you earn a $250,000 annual income without acquiring an education first?
Seriously, think about that.
One of the biggest mistakes people make when they join the industry is they try to do it with the skill sets, mindsets and work ethic they ENTER the profession with.
NEW SKILL SETS AND MINDSETS are required if you plan on achieving your full upside potential with this business model.
Yes, work is required, that is a given. However unlike other business models, in network marketing your long-term income is going to be in direct proportion to your ability to recruit and lead a team of people (a volunteer army)
The real product in this business is people. Your upside income potential is in direct proportion to the number of leaders, you development on your team. Recruiting… Continue reading

Network Marketing is a fascinating study in human nature and psychology. Many people get involved in the network marketing profession to move their life forward financially, but stay for the social benefits the business model offers. Deciding you will not be denied of the lifestyle and upside income potential the industry offers is something I feel everyone should decide as soon as possible in their network marketing career. Decide “I WILL NOT BE DENIED”
Every week I talk with potential clients who have followed their upline from deal to deal and finally said NO MORE. When they stopped “following the leader” they were put in a situation where they needed to become the leader, and things started to move forward for them. As Brian Tracy says, “Real Leaders Don’t Develop Followers,… Continue reading

I had heard about fellow Kentuckian, Zija’s Triple Diamond Robbie Davis. Three or four years ago I had lunch with him and his wife when we were both attending the Kentucky High School Sweet 16 Tournament at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. We were talking about possibly working with him to put together a training system for his team based upon my Confessions of a Network Marketing Millionaire Training program he had purchased years earlier.
We have kept in touch over the past few years, and two weeks ago I contacted Robbie because I wanted him to be a guest on our MLM Success podcast. I knew Robbie as a no fluff, tell it like it is, value focused network marketing… Continue reading
I honestly couldn’t believe what I was reading. This is an actual email that a network marketing company (I will not mention the name) emailed to their distributors today. As I have said for years Cater to Mediocrity or Inspire Greatness, that is the question?

No Conference Call Tonight or Next Week
I have heard from some of our most loyal conference call attendees who asked that we postpone our next two conference calls due to the World Series. They say they and their friends want to watch the games and that they don’t like to listen to the recorded calls. We know the first game is tonight. When I look at the schedules it appears there’s a good chance a game may be played next week on… Continue reading
