In the past 30 years, I can never recall a time and place
as we are in the network marketing industry right now.
I feel as though many long time industry leaders are looking
for stability instead of opportunity.
There is almost a sense of panic as long time industry
leaders join old established companies. I find this
fascinating, because I know these people understand
that “The more credible the company, the less of an
upside income potential exist with that company”
Back in December of 2009 I did a video training titled
Why your downline is not growing in the economy. You can
watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw0OJbinknw
For the past 25+ years network marketing has ALWAYS grown in
a down economy. However as I predicted over two years ago,
that would not happen this time.
Let’s face it the last couple of years long time industry leaders
have struggled as more people fall off auto-ship than join their
team every month.
Many have been sucked into the next big launch, but after the
hype, then what? If we don’t penetrate the mom and pop non
network marketers growth cannot happen!
For the first 15 years I was in the network marketing
industry, it was based around a culture of personal growth
and responsibility.
Companies understood, that if you BUILD PEOPLE and teach
people the skill sets and mindset necessary for network marketing
success people would ultimately build the business.
For the past 15 years all we have really been doing as
an industry is recruiting each other as talked about in this
article by Len Clements http://tinyurl.com/5srua5v written
15 YEARS AGO!
As an industry, I hope we will use this and time and place
in our history to return to our roots of self growth and
personal development.
