QUESTIONÂ
Do you have any suggestions on how to promote for an event. I joined a newer MLM
and they are coming to Chicago to help promote the opportunity. I know that it is
going to be big if I can get the word out, but I am looking for any suggestions. I have
done word of mouth and I am going to start putting flyers everywhere this weekend.
Oh yeah the event is on the 30th and 31st of this month so I only have a week to get
the word out and create a buzz. That would be another question how do you create a
buzz in a new area? Upline says word of mouth, etc. but it being new here is both a
blessing and a curse. A blessing becuase I am one of the few that are in this MLM, and
a curse because everyone I talk to thinks it’s a scam of some kind.
Thank you,
RESPONSEÂ
Here are some tips:
Design and print tickets for the event. Then all adv should say for your free complimentary tickets call or visit this particular website.
* Craigs List Ads in Chicago Market Under Events also Back Page and Walmart Classifieds
*Â Buy Movie Theater Advertising in the theater that is closest to where the event will be held. (Same neighborhood)Â This is basically a power point slide which promotes the events and offers free tickets.
These ads generally show before the previews in every theater and very reasonable.
*Newspaper Inserts in the zone around the hotel where the event is going to be held offering free tickets. Not an ad a INSERT and only in the zone where the event is taking place. Most newspapers have their markets divided into 5-10 zones, and allow you to place flyers in the entire paper or specific zones.
Ok, that should give you enough to think about for now.
Much Success to You!
