How much you get out of any event has a lot to do with what you do AFTER the event is over.

We believe there is a proven formula to maximize your return after you attend your network marketing companies event. What do you do? We will give you the formula in this article.

Over the years I have been hired by multiple network marketing companies as the first key note speaker of the event to do a training called How to Maximize Your Time, and Explode out of this Event.  I am going to share with you some of the highlights in this article. 

Your time is the most valuable asset you have.  Every year network marketing distributors spend a lot of time, energy and money attending network marketing events around the world.  Most companies do there best to make their event worth your while, and respect and appreciate your attendance.  

We have taught our entire career that the only reason to miss your Network Marketing Companies National Conference is “DEATH in the Immediate Body”.   I know lives are changed at events.  I can reflect back on two specific network marketing company events, that if I had missed them, I wouldn’t be writing this article today. I wouldn’t have made it.

Most everybody leaves and event fired up.  However some people leave at a place emotionally and psychologically that they have never been before, and their life is changed, FOREVER!

We have always taught that you must attend your network marketing companies event with an attitude of expectation.  While you are at the event you should keep two sets of notes.  One is general notes, and the other is a list we call What do Do When I return Home.

I sincerely believe SPEED OF IMPLEMENTATION is the secret.

Review everything you learned at the event – every thought you had, every perspective. Find the elements and ideas that align. The time between taking those thoughts from your What to Do When I Get Home list  and implementing is a function of your Speed of Implementation. THAT is what determines whether the idea will take hold.

Ideas, aspirations, and ambitions have a shelf life without action. The more you can engage with those ideas and elements, and do something with them, the better.  Immediate action after your companies Network Marketing Event is the Secret.  “Activity creates courage, Inactivity Fear”.

Usually, after an event, everybody goes back to their normal lives and routines within a few days. We’re all conditioned. Sometimes “unlearning” is more important than learning. Often, the best way to make use of what you learned, is unlearning the stuff that will prevent you from messing it up.

For example, spend less time trying to “read all the books.” You’re better off mastering a single book than reading twenty books in a shallow way. There are so many options. There are so many things vying for your attention. And most people operate in a very shallow way. We don’t go deep with much of anything.  Many of you have heard the intro to my No Fluff Network Marketing, Leadership Development podcast.  We say the podcast is for career minded, DEEP THINKING, network marketing Pros that are sick of the Fluff.  If you listen to my podcast or read this blog on a regular basis, you know I am all about going deep.

After you’ve taken everything in from the event, ask yourself:

What are the best ideas?  

What’s the one thing that solves dozens of challenges?  Speaking of books and One Thing, this is one of my

What are the ideas that, if I actually implemented them in my life and business, would produce the fastest results?

Then, take it seriously.

There will also be things you will have learned that are great ideas – but they aren’t great ideas right now. So, you want to also have a NOT NOW LIST. A NOT NOW LIST is a safe place to put those great ideas you don’t want to lose but will implement sometime in the future of your journey.  I believe that network marketing is learned systematically and sequentially.

Also, after any event, get a massage. Go to a movie. Do yoga. Whatever is fun for you – do that, too.  Then come home from your network marketing event with your list, and get into action immediately!
