There are dozens of quotes from Jim Rohn, that have been ingrained into my brain, heart, and soul.  They are Jim’s words, and I always try to give him credit, but they have become part of me.  They are part of my belief structure and who I am.  I know many of the readers of this blog, understand exactly what I am talking about, because you have had the same experience.

Repetition is the mother of learning, and wisdom of the ages, is wisdom of the ages.  It is always in our best interest as people to make these principles, more than just catch quotes, but part of our own belief systems.  If you have never developed a REAL HUNGER for personal growth and development, that would be my one wish for you.

I have watched this hunger develop in thousands of people over the years.  It is hard to say how many Amway distributors lives were changed forever because if you where in Amway, you were on the tape (cassette) of the week program, or you were shunned.  Tens of thousands of people around the world moved forward and had successful business careers in other industry and with business models other than Amway, or network marketing simply because through repetition of the right principles, concepts, and ideas, their life was changed.

I have always said, and will always believe the number one benefit of getting involved in network marketing is the personal development REQUIRED, to build a long term, sustainable, duplicating team of people.

Ok, I had no plans on saying that, but hopefully somebody needed to hear it.

Time & Money

As your business grows and develops your time management skills must continue to grow as well.  The higher you rise an any business the more of a psychologist  and time management expert you will need to become.  That is just the natural progression.

With that said, since July 2015 I made the decision for the first time ever to take Network Marketing Support Services Inc. to a new level.  When I made that decision, I literally did not have another minute in the day.  As most of you know Dawn and I operate four different businesses with a smalll staff in Kentucky and several VA’s and outsourcers in the US and around the world.  I cannot tell you how many times over the past several months, I have asked myself What was I thinking?

The good news is we are still having fun and you can always hire more people.  You just have to make certain, the person is busy and over time will add to your bottom line.  I can make the argument why operating a business with just you and your partner makes sense, but it is my belief that when you do that you dilute the value you are providing to the market that you serve.

There is no question, I have dropped the ball more over the past few months, than I have over the past several years.  I try to be reliable, responsive, and do what I say I am going to do.  However, I could spend several hours a day, listening to pitches via phone and email daily.  So yes, I am becoming harder and harder to reach, and as your business grows you will have to be as well.  There is simply no way around it.  This is one of the reasons I teach you should never have more front line distributors than lines you need to reach the top of your compensation plan.  Short term thinkers sponsor everyone front line, what are you?   Again, I didn’t plan on mentioning this, but if someone needed it, awesome.  Here is a video that explains what I just said in more detail, it is from our Confession of a Network Marketing Millionaire Training and it is called “The spinning Plates Concept”.

When I was building, one of the biggest mistakes I made was being accessible to all my leaders 24-7.     I was literally on the phone from midnight to 3 or 4 in the morning what seemed like almost every day and then back to office 8-10 hours a day, and I KNEW BETTER.  But I had such a deep feeling of responsibility, not just for our team, but for their families as well.

Make wise decisions regarding your time management, and remember all you can do, is all you can do!  Let’s some this up so I can get back on the project I am suppose to be working on :).  If you are a leader with tens of thousands of people on your team, have up and coming,  future leaders, schedule there calls with you.  This can be with an assistant, or maybe the software previously mentioned.   If you are a newbie, you need to understand that time management with network marketing is different than with other business models as explained in the recorded webinar here.
