Can you believe that 1/6th of 2009 is gone?
I can’t believe that March is already here. I have to
tell you that deciding to go South for the winter was
a great idea. I avoided the bitter cold weather, snow,
and grey skies. I have definitely missed my family, especially my
granddaughter. (Thank goodness for skype)
I will be heading home, back to Kentucky the
middle of March and will be home in time to
attend the Kentucky Boys High School Sweet
16 Tournament.
Kentucky is only 1 of 2 states left that don’t
have divisional play offs for basketball. So you
can have a mountain school with 61 in their graduating
class (27 boys) play a large 3,000+ graduating class from
Louisville.

In February I attended a basketball game at Dominion Christian
High School. My friend Dawn’s daughter is a cheerleader for
the school.
That night I witnessed one of the most inspirational events
I have ever witnessed. I have been wanting to write about
it, but tonight Dawn found this video.

I had no idea when I attended the game that I would be
touched the way I was. I am thankful to have been in the
stands, and left the game encouraged.
