Kentucky wins again 91 – 67 Let’s Celebrate!

Dawn and I just finished watching Kentucky beat a very scrappy Auburn team 91 -67 in the SEC tournament. If you are an Auburn fan you should be proud of their SEC tournament run, they left it all on the court.

My granddaughter Chapel loves Shark Tank, she is 7. When I go back to Kentucky we talk about all the different Shark Tank episodes. She reminds me so much of me sometime it is scary, I feel like I can almost read her mind. I think TV shows like Shark Tank and The Profit are part of the world wide entrepreneurial buzz going on. I am excited about the valuable lessons kids can learn from these positive shows.
I have not met an entrepreneur minded person who doesn’t love Shark Tank. I often ask myself what kind of positive impact the show would have had on me if I could have watched Shark Tank when I was a kid instead of Gilligan’s Island.

In today’s marketing world there are a few companies, products, & “leaders” that need to be called out! Over the past 90 days or so I have heard the phrase “We don’t talk bad about other network marketing companies” more than I have in the last 35 years. When did that mentality become politically correct in MLM? Every time I hear someone make that statement I think what they are really thinking is “I don’t want anyone to talk about us”.

First I would just like to say, we all need to remember his family in our thoughts and prayers. He was only 65 years old and for many of us, we realize how young that really is. That is same age of Colonel Sanders when he STARTED Kentucky Fried Chicken.
I am sad because I never had the opportunity to shake Mark’s hand. Several years ago we both spoke at an event in Dallas, but I flew in on Friday, spoke and flew out and he was on the schedule for Saturday.
When I think about it, these are probably the 3 reasons I appreciate Mark the most.
